Artwork’s Story: This plaza was newly renovated by the city of San Diego just weeks after COVID had started to lift. Originally a parking lot, this beautiful plaza was put in it’s place. I enjoyed the push and pull effect of the umbrellas underneath the SR-781’s wings as a family walked underneath it to enter the San Diego Air and Space Museum. The sky was soft and the wind rustled through the trees. I imagined the jet was about to blast off!
