Artwork’s Story: Originally built for the 1915 Panama Canal exhibition in San Diego, CA. This building now houses the San Diego History Center, Museum of Photography and Art (MoPA) and the nation’s largest Model Railroad Museum, The San Diego Model Railroad Museum (SDMRM). It was created to show case the beauty of the Baroque style architecture envisioned by the original exhibitioners and has been restored by the dedicated ‘Committee of 100’ or patrons of Balboa, Park CA. This painting has also been used for our Museum line series and reproduction postcards can be purchased at the SDMRM Giftshop.
Archival Properties: Piece is available and comes Framed, Matted ready to hang. Somerset Velvet ( Textured )

This 310g, Bright White, water-resistant velvet fine art textured paper is made from 100% cotton fiber and is acid and lignin free. Float Wall Mount
A display feature that allows your panel to float off the wall. The float option is a very popular and modern look. The float is glued and taped on the back of the acrylic, positioned in the middle giving it a floating look once hung.

Metal Standoffs
Standoffs, sometimes called standoff screws are a hardware option for hanging a rigid sign through drilled holes. Standoffs attach your sign to a wall, placing an aesthetically pleasing gap of one inch in between the sign material and the wall.

Matting
Our matting is a PPFA Class III high quality mat designed to provide the impact of a bright white bevel that has the same qualities of higher priced conservation matboard without the price.
The surface paper is buffered and lignin free. It has a high strength quality to minimize surface tearing during cutting.
This matting has one of the highest specifications in the market. The result is a superior mat that will stand the test of time, resisting the effects of acid degradation while remaining bright.
Matting Options
No Matting
Known as a full-bleed framed print where there is no border backdrop and the image extends up to the frames inner edge for larger sized prints.
2 inch Matting
A 2 Inch white mat border that separates your art to the frame on all sides for medium sized prints.
3 inch Matting
A 3 Inch white mat border that separates your art to the frame on all sides for smaller to medium sized prints.
